Psychotherapy for adults of all ages

About me

I’m a licensed clinical psychologist (PSY 28829) in the state of California. I graduated with honors from the University of California, Santa Barbara for my undergraduate work and the Wright Institute in Berkeley California for my doctoral training. I believe in resilience and people’s ability to overcome challenges and to heal. I feel honored to hear my client’s stories and am regularly humbled by the growth that they make.

My style is warm and pragmatic. I work integratively and relationally, meaning I utilize techniques from several different theoretical orientations (Psychodynamic, CBT, DBT) in order to best address the issues that my clients are bringing into therapy. The relationships we have had impact who we are and the therapeutic relationship can offer a space to explore and heal how one relates to others as well as to oneself. I am equally comfortable assisting folks that are looking for short-term support to address a specific issue as working in a longer term treatment.

In addition to providing psychotherapy for adults and elders, I enjoy providing clinical supervision. I’ve worked as a supervisor and training director at the Institute on Aging in San Francisco and as a clinical supervisor in the University Counseling Services at Dominican University of California.
